site.

LOCATION

Fife, Scotland

DESIGNED TECHNOLOGY

1007kW GSHP

430kW ASHP

PROJECT OVERVIEW

  • De-steaming of the entire hospital site through a combined use of ground source and air source heat pumps.

  • A mixture of high-temperature, two-stage heat pump solutions and single stage low temperature heat pumps were used to suit the requirements of different wards, with heat emitters changed where intrusion could be accommodated.

  • Due to limited space, 3 packaged plantrooms were proposed with a ground loop per plantroom.

  • Supply of LTHW and DHW to 9 separate wards.
